The summit youth ministry
grades 7 through 12
The Summit Youth meet on Wednesday nights at The Summit Youth Center, right next to the church.
Mission: Continually offering a safe, fun, loving environment where students are encouraged with God’s Word to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Wednesday nights include engaging worship, games, challenging teachings, and small group discussions. Occasionally we gather for fun outings, such as hockey or baseball games, and provide service projects for the students to give back to the church body and community.
Wednesday night timeline: doors open at 5:45 p.m. for café eats and hanging out; 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. is teaching, praise and worship, and group discussion/prayer.
growing in christ through friendships
Each year, our youth group attends the OSYC (Ohio State Youth Conference) to gather with like-minded peers to learn more about the love of Christ and how they can spread the gospel in their communities. Our annual chili cookoff helps to financially support our youth group to attend.
